HOW TO BE HAPPIER

In the middle of the week, we all need to let the steam off. I am no different. I get tired and distracted from my work, so to keep focus I become more lenient towards myself. I forgive myself a couple of small sins, without any hesitation or guilt and it is totally fine.

It is totally fine…

…to write a post not about the clothes I am wearing (cos how many times I can write about my favorite coat ??? ^^)

…to pretend not to see your colleague OTW to work, only because you listen to a killer track on your MP3. (who likes the awkwardness of silence, when you don’t have anything to talk about?)

…to start your to-do list with a task you’ve already done. (motivation booster)

…to wear sunglasses only to hide the fact that you are napping in public transportation. (who even cares about it?)

…straight after coming to work, even before checking the emails to go for a coffee. (we do deserve little pleasures, don’t we ^^)

…extending the lunch break as long as possible and then pretending you didn’t notice time has passed so quickly.

Do you also let yourself to commit such a small sins? Let me know in the comments below 😉

Stay awesome!

  1. Thanks for stopping. This post is very funny.

I’ve definitely done that… sometimes because I don’t like how messy my to- do list looked… as if by writing them out one more time and more neatly I would be more likely to complete the task 😜
