HOW DID I END UP ON THE DESERT. EILAT, ISRAEL.

Where I am from holidays are always a good idea. Whether you are happy or sad, got married or divorced, doesn’t matter, cos taking some time off and going to the place far far away is always appropriate.

And so, looking for some kind of a closure after quite a shitty time I had lately and most definitely looking for peace, I decided to leave the comfortable bed of mine and face an adventure. The idea was to go to the jungle, but when my friend K473 heard it and said:
The jungle is so last year! Let’s go to the desert!
And I was like Fine, desert it is.

Believe it or not, but organizing a night on the desert is super easy. You check airbnb.com and choose from the variety of ads.Β  The one directed to me was saying expect the worst and enjoy. Okey, it did not say exactly that, but it was an anti-ad for a resort holidays and invite for a session to reconnect with nature. Something perfect for me.

And so I took a bus, a plane, another bus, a taxi and walked for half an hour into the nothingness to reach the place I dreamt of, a solitaire desert.

There is a a symbolic meaning to this trip choice. It was all about crossing the limits, the borders and creating brand new self. Will elaborate more about this in the next post, though, so will drop it here. Yeah, get ready for quite a few posts about Israel and Palestine ^^.

TheseΒ  are the pics from this very first day of the trip. Check the links for my very top Eilat choices and let me know what you think of it.

And stay awesome!
