How to pack for a weekend away to each day look stunning? My way is to match 3 statement tops with the same bottoms, and, voila, my weekend lookbook is ready.
One of the staples in my wardrobe is this gingham top. It looks girly and cute with the ruffled bottom and I always feel in it like a princess. There is so much going on with all the ruffles, though and I like it best with classic shorts. After all gingham print itself draws so much attention.
Did you know that according to Pinterest, searches for gingham garments have spiked by 100% year on year? After seeing how playfully Victoria Beckham or Miu Miu use this tablecloth check print many high street shops picked an idea and we can find whatever we want with the colorful gingham variations. Gingham flood the market and thanks to that, I found my top. It has been produced, worn, donated and only after it ends up in massive second-hand store at the suburbs of Brno it finds its way to my home. I love how it looks and I am very interested why would anyone give it away, cos I am most definitely going to wear it till my time comes.
Here outfit from last weeks trip to Budapest. Together with statement of gingham, I wore nude espadrilles, the only fitted shorts from my closet and fringed bag, which sadly didn’t make it to the pictures. You can check it HERE with different outfit.
