OOTD & HOW TO MAKE THINGS DONE

In this post, I wish to share with you my tricks how to make things done. I have developed them learning from my experience, looking up to my role models and listening to my friends and family.

I have a lot of things on my plate. I work as IT project manager, I blog, I run a small vintage store. On the top of that, I have (a bit of) a social life. I don’t wanna resign from any of these, so to get everything done, I need routines that push me to act.

These are practices that so far brought the best results:

  1. MAKE A TO-DO LIST.
    A To-Do list gives you a goal and avoids days to pass pointlessly.Check HERE how to make one.
  2. MAKE A SCHEDULE
    Because it makes it so much easier to thick all the items from a To-Do list when I give them a deadline.
  3. EAT BREAKFAST.
    I need a full stomach to make anything done, cos when I am hungry, I am angry and annoyed.
  4. WAKE UP EARLY
    Cos there is nothing better than fulfilling all your duties until the sun is on. I don’t know how about you, but when it gets dark, I get into something like sleep mode.

  1. AFFIRMATION AND VISUALIZATION
    First, imagine what you wanna achieve and then be positive by repeating to yourself that you will do this thing.
  2. GRATEFULNESS.
    Don’t expect to get anything, but be grateful once you do get it. Expectations bring only disappointments, gratefulness brings happiness. I know that it is hard at times, though. No one is going to be grateful for flat tire or coffee spilled all around new blouse. So when it happens, think of how cheap the tires are these days or that some awesome inventor brought to live instant stain remover and it will save the day.
  3. KEEP THE SPACE (YOU LIVE AND WORK IN) CLEAN.
    It is so much easier to organize your thoughts when the space around you is neat. This comes from within. Think of all those times when you wanted to study, but first you had a need to clean all the room/flat.
  4. SILENCE.
    I see the power in silence. It helps me to both fully relax and organize my thoughts.

  1. READ.
    It increases vocabulary and gives a different point of view. For me usually reading leaves a feeling of groundbreaking things happening and inspires me for the next few days.
  2. WORKOUT.
    Working out energize your body and produces serotonin, what in simple language means that it pushes you to do more and makes you happier. How not to fall for that?

  2. Really really cool look! Especially those shoes are sooo.. perfect! Love the jeans too! Also some nice tips. To do lists help me a lot too and waking up early too. I need to schedule everything very carefully, as I have a blog, a business, a daughter, and a life 😀 So I always need to plan super detailed to get everything done plus have some time off with my little girl, my husband, or just myself 🙂
