When I am buying any item of clothing, I want it to be versatile. I don’t need another thing that will look good the only solo. I need a set of clothes that all together will create cute outfits. And so, as for me, there is no more versatile fabric than denim, and as I own an impressive collection of denim pants already, I knew I was in a desperate need for a denim skirt.
This one was thrifted. I got it last week, totally by accident*, but from the moment I saw it, I knew I have to have it. When thrifting there is no time for thinking. I learned my lesson last week, when I left a jumper overnight to wait for me when being not sure about it (red turtleneck, so beautiful!). As expected, the next morning, the jumper was gone and all I was left with was tears.
I forgive myself this small treat, though, cos again by accident, I got the best the most irreplaceable piece of clothing. How can I know it? Well, for starters, cos within one week I wore it already twice. I wanted to wear it the third time, but it was too cold for bare legs 🙁 ).
Wearing the item the next day (or days in this case) is for me an ultimate sign of a good purchase. I do it a lot when I buy clothes. I will never take the tags off it and if not used for 20 days, goes back to the store. #moneysaver
Anyways, this is my 2 OOTDs with the denim skirt. One is sporty. Los Pollos Hermaos tee (it’s a restaurant from Breaking Bad, check more HERE), with Vans and corduroy jacket, looks very casual. The other one is more on a chic side with Jaeger jumper and ruffled slides.
Which one do you like more? Do you also give back purchased items? Let me know!
*I always say that I got something by accident but this is not true. I almost always deliberately look for something. 😉
